In March 2001, Light & Motion design engineers spent a wonderful week aboard the Na'ia in Fiji. The ship's staff was very gracious and made it easy for us to test new gear and to come up with innovative product ideas. (Yea, yea. We hear the violins. Tough life at Light & Motion, huh?) In July 2005 Russ Sanoian of Light & Motion was invited aboard the Nautilus Explorer for a trip from Juneau, Alaska to Prince Rupert, Canada. This trip promised the chance to dive some historic shipwrecks, diving around glaciers and icebergs and sealife galore. The Nautilus Explorer is setup as a video/photo friendly boat and has two padded tables for safe storage and setup of your housings, rinse tanks, and a charging station. We brought along some gear for the guests to try and good times were had by all. Be sure to check the Nautilus Explorer's website for future Light & Motion trips and a chance to demo some gear for free.

In April Jim Church invited Paul Barnett to be his "Digital Assistant" aboard the Belize Aggressor. Paul assisted Jim in integrating underwater digital technology into Jim's teaching, as well as helping other passengers experience the digital difference. Between teaching and charging batteries, Paul managed to take a few pictures himself shown here.
