Light & Motion, a manufacturer of underwater imaging equipment, was recently awarded "Best Booth" for the 2001 Diving Equipment and Marketing Association trade show.
Ruby Enriquez of DEMA stated that, "the award was designed to recognize the  exhibit display that made the highest impact with exhibitors and attendees.  Judging was open to all 719 exhibitors.
Light & Motion's 1200 square foot exhibit included multiple 8 foot color images, by California photographers Ernie Brooks and Chuck Davis suspended 12 feet in the air. The company's underwater video housings were suspended by counterweights to simulate their underwater feel of zero gravity, all in a hands-on user friendly setting.
Barrett Heywood, CEO, explained that, "we try to make our customers feel that they are entering this amazing underwater world of sharks, sea lions, and inverts... sans the water of course!"
