Sony Battery Recall

February 29th, 2000 - Sony announces recall of 2 batteries model numbers NP-F750 and NP-F550 manufactured between March and June 1999. These batteries are used for Sony's Mini DV camcorders. Sony reports having sold 160,000 in the U.S. Check Manufacturing Date Code for recall match.
