Light & Motion’s Sunray 2000 Now Shipping
The Next Generation of Underwater Lighting is Here

May 1st , 2008, Monterey, CA— Light & Motion is proud to announce that the Sunray 2000 began shipping on schedule. Producing 2000 lumens of light from each head with a remarkable burn time of 75 minutes on high, the Sunray 2000 is the brightest solid-state underwater lighting system available to the consumer market. It is smaller and lighter than its closest HID competition and delivers longer burn times and more light.  “We’re very excited,” said Paul Barnett, Sales Manger for Light & Motion. “Simply put, these lights are so bright, they'll allow you to get footage in conditions not possible before.”

The Sunray 2000 LED Video Light System ($3,799) creates a new standard in underwater lighting.  With over 2000 lumens of light (per light head!), the Sunray will provide never before seen detail in your underwater footage. The Sunray 2000 light has a proprietary micro-peened reflector that ensures broad, even coverage with no hot spots and no artifacts. Three light-output levels and instant on/off allow the user a degree of control previously unavailable in underwater video lighting.  Sunray 2000 users also have the ability to fit standard 52mm filters that will match the Sunray's light to ambient conditions, ensuring vibrant, colorful footage.  Light & Motion calls it their 'CTMS' Color Filtration system. 

All Sunray 2000 light systems will ship with memory-free NiMH (Nickel Metal-Hydride) batteries providing 65 minutes of run time on high.  In addition, the Multi-Chem Smart Charger (included) can replenish the Sunray's discharged batteries in only 1.5 hours!
