The
Stingray active matrix Monitor Back provides a large 2.5" color
image with external brightness and color controls. You see what
the camera is recording, in full color, while holding the housing
at arm's length. Not only will the larger image be of great assistance
in composing your shots, you can instantly see the results when
you turn on lights or use your flip down filter. The Monitor Back
replaces the original housing back, and has an electronic docking
connector that connects to the rear of the camera tray, delivering
both video signal and power. There are no cables to fuss with.
The Monitor is powered by the camera battery for over an hour.
Not only do you see a large and colorful image,
you also see all the status information normally displayed in
your camera's viewfinder (camera must support data screen function).
The Stingray Monitor Back comes with a lens shade which allows
viewing even in strong ambient light.
